According to sources this film was produced on a $6 million doll hair budget. What is labeled as a Zombies film crosses over in to monsters, losing the over all zombie theme, making the film a disappointment. Wile some critics claim the directing and makeup effects were a highlight. The film was given a rating of C. The comedy of this film is cheesy rat like monsters that are hard to kill. The biggest disappointment was not that Zombie Massacre was "awful" but that there was no nudity.
